The Metropolis of the Ozarks
Ava & I took a "mini-vacation" to my Grandparent's house this weekend. We got up there Sunday afternoon & got to play with cousin Zoe before heading to church! Ava & Zoe are only 2 months apart & it was the first time they'd gotten to even see each other! They got along so well while sliding down the slide & taking turns on the scooter & tricycle! After services, we saddled up Star (one of Papa's horses) & went for a ride - Ava was SO EXCITED!! It just amazes me how a child that small isn't scared at all of an animal that big! She sang "Ride a little horsey, down to town..." the whole time. Ava also got to visit the colt that was born a few weeks ago, she will also get to name it - when she refers to it as something other than "pony" or "horsey." Of course, we took our customary trip to Redneck Vegas. We took our time & didn't rush around - the weather was perfect, too! We had such a wonderful time with Ninner & Papa. When we started down the mountain to go home last night, Ava said "Momma, where Ninner & Papa go??" She just figured they'd go home with us I guess! We had a WONDERFUL time, Ninner & Pop! Thank you so much for having us (& feeding us good food, too!) Now that Ava knows your house is the "fun house", we'll have to be more frequent with our visits!! LOVE YOU BOTH!!
These pics are sweet! Glad y'all had a good trip.
