Sometimes You Wanna' Go...

Last Friday night, Emily came to stay with us!

I was flittering around the house, dilly-dallying in this and that, when I hear "Yeah, let's go to town..." coming from the playroom.

It peaked my interest, to say the least - I wanted to make sure they were taking Dad's truck - not mine.

Here is what I saw upon further inspection...
Oh yes - decked to the nine's for a day in town.

So refreshing to see a younger generation all dressed up to go to the grocery store - I, myself, rarely head to town without my feather boa & crown on... it would be a crime of fashion to forget such proper attire, for sure.
I find the ensemble really does help me pick out just the right jar of pickles...

Nice to see that Baby is strapped in properly, too.

I could hear from afar, as they were making the journey to town, that they were looking for a place to rest & maybe grab a bite to eat.

Luckily for them, Big Mommas Cafe was just ahead on the left...

Big Momma sure does know how to feed 'em!

Dark chocolate brownies (with chocolate chips, of course) - fresh & warm from the oven.
Take a good look at Mommas plates - why, I think I see a polka dot pattern & festive cupcakes on them!! How appropriate - that Momma - she thinks of everything....
Big Mommas is a "come one, come all" type of facility - that means Baby dolls are welcome, too.

This here is one of Mommas favorite customers - she should be hired as the spokes model.

She likes brownies almost as much as Momma herself....
How classy is this joint?! Did you see the glassware?!

For all future customers, please remember to wear proper attire -

No shoes. No shirt. No service.
