Wednesday : NYC

Wednesday's weather was PERFECT! It was a clear & warmer day, so we took advantage of it! I shopped of course most of the day, but we also did some more sightseeing! We went to Grand Central Station at lunch - the details in this building are unbelievable! We also walked down to Union Square & on the way got to see the Flatiron Building (I don't really know it's historic credibility, but it's always in between scenes in the show "Friends" & we LOVE "Friends"...i own the entire series on DVD :) It was neat to go through the Union Square Market - these people don't just go to the grocery store like we do - they get their fruit & bread daily from street vendors or from a market like Union Square. We took a cab to the Upper East Side - had to go to Tiffany's...again - and then took a carriage ride through Central Park. That was really neat - the park is HUGE! We didn't get to go through all of it, but saw where the concerts are held, the baseball park, & some famous areas that are in some movies. After our ride, we scurried (literally a light sprint) a few blocks to Dylan's Candy Bar! I was afraid it would be closed by the time we got there, but luckily it wasn't! I was literally "like a kid in a candy store"! I heard D.Might say, "We have got to get you outta here!" It was already pretty late & we still hadn't ate dinner yet, luckily Abitino's Pizza was open & we chowed down! It was so delicious! We had such a great trip! If any of you ever get the chance to go, TAKE IT! You will not regret it! I'm already saving up to take Ava back :)
